We are a small, but diverse, group of Christians committed to following Jesus and loving our community. We welcome everyone, men and women, to serve and use their gifts in all aspects of the church’s life and leadership.
We take scripture very seriously, and all members are encouraged to read and study the Bible (both as individuals and in study groups), that they may interpret scripture for themselves and apply it to their own lives.
What is a worship service like at GCC?
You’ll hear a hopeful message about the good news of Jesus. The preaching is biblically solid and relevant to the world in which we live.
You’ll be invited to take communion. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday, and we welcome all followers of Christ to participate.
You’ll hear some of our leaders pray. We believe in prayer! As we pray for our world and each other, you’ll also have the opportunity to submit a prayer request.
You’ll be surrounded by amazing four-part harmony. We enjoy a worship style that is traditional, but fairly informal, with contemporary songs as well as traditional hymns. We love to sing and we believe that every voice counts.
So what should I wear?
Just be comfortable and be yourself. At GCC, we’re most interested in you as a person and not your fashion choices.
